Hey pretty people!
Wow, almost two weeks since last time, I missed you!
Last weekend I went to Siglufjörður to play in a music festival with a symphony orchestra which I am a member of.
It was super fun, we played for example the Nutcracker.
While I was there I was planning on blogging but there was simply no time at all!
Yay! DIY! I am going to do flower crown/headbands. These headbands have been very trendy now for the summer!
I have seen lots and lots of girls wearing these kinds of headbands and I think they are so beautiful.
But here's the thing, I can't seem to find headbands like these!
So I thought it would just be easier to make one myself instead of looking and looking without any success.
The Flower Crown
What you need
Glue. I think a glue gun works the best for me.
Elastic band.
Fake flowers. I got mine from Ikea.
Scissors.
Measure the elastic around your head.
Cut off the end.
Take the flowers off the stem.
Cut the extra stem part of the flower (if needed).
Place the flowers where you would like them to be.
Then glue the flowers on the elastic.
Press it for a few seconds or until the glue dries.

When your all done with the flowers go ahead and glue the elastic band together to make a crown.
Now you're done! Super quick, super easy!
You don't need to put flowers all the way around the band. You can just put it 'half the way', so to speak and then you have sort of headband.
The Flower Headband
What you need
For this you need a thin headband like this and also the things shown above.
Sorry about the lighting on the next pictures.
These flowers were a bit tricky because of the plastic thing in the middle.
I took it off so I had two layers of flower buds.
I found out that the best way to do this with these weird flowers was to put one flower bud beneath and the other one over the band.
Then glue one bud on top of the other. If you have flowers that are easier to glue on then you don't need to do this two layer 'procedure'. Honestly it seems a bit complicated but it is very easy!
Continue to put several flowers along the band (I put five rather large ones).
I really really like this one!
I hope you liked this DIY. I worked really hard on it!
Please comment down below who's your favorite one or if you just have any questions!
Send me pictures on Twitter of your creation :)
xoxo,
