How To Style: Maxi Skirts

Hey pretty people!

This is just going to be a short post about how to style maxi skirts!
I created this set on Polyvore, I am still just a beginner on this site.
Anyway, this is basically my creation of how I would style maxi skirts. I was going to do a How to Style Maxi Skirts in 3 ways and take pictures of my own outfits but that didn't go as planned.

How To Style: Maxi Skirts

Topshop petite top
topshop.com

Slit skirt
brandymelvilleusa.com

Leather footwear
$135 - windsorsmith.com.au

Half frame sunglasses
shopzerouv.com

Rimmel lipstick
target.com

I have the same maxi skirt from Brandy Melville except mine is just plain black. I found these adorable leather shoes that fit perfectly for this outfit. And of course you gotta have a crop top!
I got bold and added a rich red lipstick along with these retro circle sunglasses.
I would describe this as a retro-chic kind of look and I am in love with it!

Tell me guys what YOU think in the comment section below!
And also! I have created a email address so you can now email me if there is anything on your mind, some questions or something!
Follow me on Polyvore to see more of these sets!

First Week of School Outfits

Hey pretty people!

PLEASE NOTE: I HAVE CHANGED THE NAME FROM TRENDY-BASTARD TO THETRENDYBASTARD!

I know I'm a little late in this "back to school" posts since almost everybody has already started school.
Anyway, today I am going to show you what I'll be wearing my first week of school.
I started school today but I'm just gonna begin with Monday then Tuesday, etc.

Monday: Cute n' Classy

Shirt (the collar): Forever 21
Oversized T-shirt: Topshop
Leggings: Topshop
Shoes: Converse

This outfit is perfect for those days (everyday) when you are lazy but still wanna look cute.
The pink peter pan collar adds spiciness and makes the whole look pop.

Tuesday: Sweet but Edgy

Crop Top: Brandy Melville
Denim Shorts: Forever 21
Shoes: Converse

I just love the caption on this top 'Stressed Depressed But Well Dressed' from Brandy Melville.
I recently got my first ever clothes from Brandy and I got to say I'm very impressed! The material is super soft and so comfy to wear.

Wednesday: Casual and Girly

 Crop Top: H&M
High-Waisted Jeans: Topshop
Cardigan: Forever 21
Flower Headband: DIY
Shoes: Toms

High-waisted jeans are definitely my favorite fitted jeans now. They look so good with a crop top!
The flower headband gives the outfit a touch of girliness.

Thursday: Laidback

Flannel: Vintage
Tank Top: Forever 21
Pants: Cotton On
Shoes: H&M

I have a heavy schedule on Thursdays so I just wanna be very comfortable and laid back.
I think this outfit is very cozy with this BIG flannel that my dad owns and it is very very old!

Friday: Boho Chic

Dress: H&M
Sweater: H&M
Necklace: Christmas gift
Shoes: Toms (forgot to show)

I love this look! I just put a sweater over a dress to make the dress look like a skirt.
The sweater gives this look bit of a bohemian vibe.

My backpack is from Target and my watch is from DKNY if you were wondering :)
I hope you liked this post and gave you some inspirations for your outfits to school!
I am thinking of making a hair tutorial next. Like if you want a hair tutorial!

Wall Decal

Hey pretty people!

While back when I was in Florida I bought a wall decal or wall stickers as some of you may call it.
The wall decal is from Target and it basically has a bunch of caring and beautiful words.

To be honest I had no idea how it would turn up to be like so I was very surprised!
This is the same exact one that I purchased.

The biggest and the main word is family. This wall decal help me to remind myself of smiling, laughing, etc.
My favorite ones are laughter, hope and unique but I can relate to most of the words.

Please comment down below some ideas for back to school posts!
Also go ahead and like this from Facebook!
Maybe there's also a style steal coming up....
